OUR MISSION history – BennettBalantaLaw

Throughout history, notable Pan-African personalities like Marcus Garvey and W.E.B. Du Bois championed the idea of African Americans returning to Africa. Their movements, driven by a vision of unity and empowerment, sought to reconnect the African diaspora with their ancestral homeland. However, these movements often waned after their leaders passed away.
Today, we recognize that Africa does not need a “Back to Africa” movement. Instead, it needs a “Back and Forth to Africa” movement, fostering a continuous and intimate exchange between Africa and its diaspora. This dynamic relationship encourages cultural, economic, and intellectual collaboration, enriching both continents.
At Bennett Balanta Law, we are at the forefront of this modern movement. Our firm is dedicated to facilitating connections and opportunities that bridge the gap between Africa and its global diaspora, ensuring a prosperous and united future for all.
