in the summer of 1989 a brave second year law student from Wake Forest University School of Law set out on a comparative law expedition through Liberia, Sierra Leone and Ghana. What he found was law and culture that welcomed business and the African American. What it lacked was a bridging law firm to help to facilitate the “Back and Forth to Africa movement”, that the young idealistic law student wanted for himself and for his people.
